It has been such a whirlwind year and we cannot believe our one year anniversary is here. We celebrated our anniversary as a family by having the same dinner we had in Chelyabinsk the night that we picked up Luke---pizza! And what could be more fitting than to have dinner at the Pizzeria that we named after Luke, Kostaki's Pizzeria! (Kostaki is the Italian form of the nickname Kostya) Then we went with our church to a local men's home and delivered food, presents and sang Christmas Carols. It really reminded us of our family's humble beginning.
We came home and took our family photo in front of the first Christmas tree we decorated as a family. Although the sign says 'The End', and it is the end of our blog, our journey as a family is only beginning. We praise God once again this Christmas season for His gift of His only son Jesus to bless us with Grace and Salvation. Thank you all that have prayed with us and supported us on this truly blessed journey.

2 Peter 5:6-10
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
