Well, we did not get to visit Luke today. We were quite disappointed, as we have not gotten to see him in over a week now. We had a long meeting again with our court rep, trying to explain various documents, and of course they requested more documents for court. So our wonderful friends have run from here to there and back again compling them. They sent them to us express service only to find out that we need one more! So today the paper race begins anew.
Even with all these hurdles, changes and extended waiting God still give us grace and sustains us. We will get to visit Luke tomorrow, a huge praise.
Our friends Dwayne and Kara introduced us to their friend (Kirell, from the photo last week) and he is going to drive us for our visit tomorow, yet another blessing, as it is safer and cheaper!
Thank you all so much for the prayers, emails and continued support as we wait over here, we are a truly blessed family.

Dear Danette and Mark,
Family #1 here...We are so happy that we are here together to share the ups and (temporary) downs of this process. I am grateful this Thanksgiving that God allowed our paths to cross at this very moment in history. Eccl. 4:9-10 "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work;
If one falls down, his friend can help him up." Thanks for picking us up on many occasions.
Love in Christ,
Lynn & Scott
Danette and Mark,
In this season of giving thanks, we are thankful you're sharing this journey with us. The prayer from your friend was beautiful and felt by all. I'm so glad you have friends there close by to be with you this holiday...and prayerfully you'll share the day with Luke, too! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! In Christ, Sherry
Dear Danette and Mark,
I am just catching up with the challenges, disappointments, and joys in your lives. I hope and pray you get to see Luke today! Why was it safer for your friend to drive? What is the weather like right now? We might have snow tomorrow! Praise God for meatloaf and 2 desserts. Okay, these are my thoughts right now! Jennifer's prayer touched me. Blessings on thanksgiving! Rob and Rosemary
My thoughts and prayers are with all three of you, as Luke waits for his life to incredibly change and you wait to finally have him in your arms every day.
Love, Ellen and Sam
Danette & Mark - I am praying for God to be with you in every step of this process. Stay strong and don't lose hope. I love the pictures of Luke you have posted - what a beautiful smile! Debbie, Coyote Hill
