We are spending today in prayer and preperation for our court appearance tomorrow. We are now having our appearance at 2pm local time (3am Missouri time). We think this is because our translator teaches on Monday mornings. 
This morning I got to go with the girls for a spa day and it was a really nice treat. We got pedicures and massages, a great preperation for my mind and body!
When I came back to the hotel I quizzed Mark with anticipated court questions as he had been studying while I was gone. He will quiz me one more time before we turn in for an early night.
Here are our prayer requests for tomorrow:
Favor with the Judge
Successful court proceeding completed in one appearance
For God to give us wisdom and the words to answer the Judge's questions confidently
To be Kostya's forever family
Our friends Scott & Lynn, Kara & Dwayne, and Pastor Andre will be gathering together to pray for us during our court time-we are overwhelmed at their love and support.
Thank you all for your prayers for this special day for our family.

With as many people praying for you over as many time zones, you all are covered 24/7-not worry about a change in court time. We are prepparing for a church pot luck and Billy just made a new batch of Mu-Ha-Lu for his bbq pork. One blessing we would like to thank you for, your experience has brought us closer to our church and we will always be greatful for that.
Bess Wilcox from Texas called us early this morn. Wanted an update about times and etc. She wanted to report to her Sunday school class of elderly women. They are praying women and have been interceeding to God for you. one 94 year old is quite a prayer and has been praying for you for 2 years. Bess said she will devote much time to this today. We would tell you scripture that is appropriate but you have studied it and have it in your hearts, we are sure. So, our church people are in prayer again this eve.,all your friends,church and family as we have said before. We are lifting our hands and hearts toward heaven humbly expecting the desires of your hearts to be met. Wanting to be godly parents is pleasing in God's sight. Praying for the paper work and favor.
